Geneva Public Library will host an event on Saturday, May 10 from 10 a.m. to noon. The presentation will focus on General Lafayette’s visit to Geneva. Attendees will learn how Lafayette was invited to and received in town. The event will also discuss local landmarks, including the Lafayette Tree and Lafayette Inn, and explain how these stories became part of Geneva’s local folklore.

The event is organized by Historic Geneva in cooperation with the Daughters of the American Revolution. It will take place at 244 Main Street, Geneva, NY.
