6th Graders Explore Water Quality with Interactive Lesson

Last week, 6th graders at Geneva Epps Mosley Middle School participated in an environmental science lesson. A representative from the Maricopa County Stormwater Program visited the campus to explain how water flows through the community and what occurs when pollutants enter the water system. Using interactive models, the students explored the effects of runoff on local waterways and learned about the county's methods for maintaining water quality. The session was designed to provide a hands-on educational experience for the students.
