Geneva, NY – A reenactment event is set to take place tomorrow, June 8, in Pulteney Park from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The celebration marks the 200th anniversary of Major General Lafayette’s visit to Geneva, New York, commemorating his return to the United States in 1825.

No registration is required to attend the free event. The celebration is organized by the Friends of Lafayette with support from The Daughters of the American Revolution, Sons of the American Revolution, French Alliance of Rochester, Geneva Masonic Lodge, and Historic Geneva.
