Manhattan Panel Examines UN's Future Challenges

Manhattan Community College in New York, NY, reports that a panel discussion titled "The Future of the United Nations: Navigating Geopolitical Strain and Institutional Uncertainty" will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM ET at Theatre II, 199 Chambers Street, New York, NY.

The event is hosted by BMCC CUNY in partnership with Network 20/20 and will feature distinguished leaders in international diplomacy. Panelists include Ambassador Aglaia Balta, Permanent Representative of Greece to the United Nations; Ambassador Chris Lu, former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations for Management and Reform; and Ambassador Carolyn Rodrigues-Birkett, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana to the United Nations in New York. The discussion will be moderated by Dr. Waheguru Pal Singh Sidhu, a Clinical Professor and Director of the United Nations Specialization at the Center for Global Affairs, School of Professional Studies at New York University.
