Summer 2026 Staff Highlights
Sidney Sicignano — Sailing Specialist
From Mount Kisco, N.Y., Sidney Sicignano is returning for a second year on YMCA Camp Cory staff. She is studying environmental science and geology at Florida State University. She is on the Florida State sailing team and has traveled along the East Coast for regattas. A fun fact: she lived in Panama for a year. She wants to travel to Switzerland. She is a triplet. Hobby: On Florida State University’s sailing team.
Lulu Batek — Senior Counselor
From Brighton, N.Y., Lulu Batek is entering her 10th year at camp. She is a senior at Brighton High School, where she is involved in five singing groups, plays varsity volleyball, participates in Model United Nations, and is the president of her school's Mock Trial team. Outside of school, she is in a rock band, writes her own songs, and she can usually be found rock climbing or working on her next creative project.
Marcos Paulo Ferreira — Senior Counselor
From São Paulo, SP, Brazil, Marcos Paulo Ferreira is joining the camp for his first year. He is passionate about sports, books, going to concerts, and dreams about living in multiple countries. After 13 years as a teacher, he can still be an introvert at times, but he is excited to come to camp.
