Brighton police officers, while on proactive patrol just before midnight yesterday, pulled over a vehicle for an expired registration and a non-functioning rear taillight. The search of the vehicle revealed that among the four occupants, the driver had an outstanding warrant and one of the passengers had three outstanding warrants; both individuals were taken into custody. Officers also recovered drug paraphernalia, a firearm, 254 fentanyl pills, and additional narcotics inside the vehicle. The remaining two occupants were arrested on drug charges.
