**Early Morning Shooting in Greeley Sends One Woman to the Hospital**

Greeley, Colorado – At approximately 2:26 a.m. on November 30, 2024, the Greeley Police Department responded to a report of a shooting at Wyler’s Pub and Brew, located in the 2300 block of 27th Street. The suspect left the scene before officers arrived.

Upon arrival, officers found multiple shell casings on the ground and several bullet holes in the pub's front door. Inside, they discovered a 38-year-old woman with gunshot wounds. Emergency medical personnel, who were already on standby nearby, were summoned to the scene. The victim was treated at the location and then transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. She underwent surgery and is expected to survive.

The Greeley Police Department's Investigations Unit is leading the investigation, with assistance from Major Crime Field Evidence Technicians for evidence collection and processing. The Victim Assistance Unit is providing support to the victim's family at the hospital.

Police quickly identified a suspect, 32-year-old Jimmy Cazares, and located him at a residence in the 2300 block of 25th Street. Officers surrounded the home and asked Cazares to come out. He complied and exited the home without a weapon, leading to his arrest without incident.

Cazares has been booked at the Weld County Jail on multiple charges, including Criminal Attempt 1st Degree Murder, 1st Degree Assault, and several weapon-related offenses. He currently does not have a bond.
