Denver Fire, along with South Adams County Fire and Adams County Fire, responded to a fast-moving brush fire near 48th & Monaco, prompting a significant multi-agency response.

21 rigs were on scene, including engines, towers, brush units, ambulances and command staff.

Firefighters stretched about 450 feet of hose in full bunker gear and packs, then pushed the fire for nearly 45 minutes to stop forward progress and bring it under control.

This was a full-scale effort with crews working side-by-side to quickly contain the fire and protect the surrounding area.
