Brighton Police Warn Against Speeding on Highways

On a recent post, the Brighton Police Department in Brighton, Colorado, issued a reminder to drivers about the importance of obeying speed limits. The Traffic Safety Unit reported that traveling at 89 miles per hour on Highway 85 is not acceptable, regardless of the good weather conditions. The department urged all motorists to adhere to traffic laws and prioritize safety on the roads. The reminder comes amid rising temperatures, with current temperatures reaching 103 degrees Fahrenheit.
