At Geneva Epps Mosley Middle School, 7th graders participated in a bridge-building challenge organized by the Tempe Elementary School District. The students worked with tape, cardboard, and toilet paper rolls to construct a bridge that could support the weight of two Chromebooks or more.

Honeywell engineers provided guidance during the event. The students tested their designs and learned from their failures. Some students even built structures that supported nearly 100 pounds along with a few classmates.
