Road closure coming to 59th Ave. in Greeley

Greeley, Colo. — A full closure is planned at 59th Ave and O Street starting March 9, between F Street and O Street, according to the City of Greeley.

Message boards at these locations have been up for two weeks:

• O Street, east and west of 59th Ave
• 83rd Ave, for drivers heading east
• N. 47th Ave, for drivers heading west
• 59th Ave & AA Street, for drivers heading south

Detour options include:

• Coming from the north? Take AA Street
• Coming from the south? Take 4th Street
• Traveling north/south west of the construction? Use 83rd Ave
• Traveling north/south east of the construction? Use 35th Ave

If you regularly travel this corridor — especially to Northridge High School, Tointon Academy, the Poudre River Trailhead or Island Grove Regional Park — now's the time to map out your alternate route.
