**Construction Alert: Brighton Recreation Center Aquatics Facility Closing for New Water Slide Installation**

The Brighton Recreation Center in Brighton, Colorado, will temporarily close its Aquatics Facility to install a new water slide. The entire aquatics area is closed and is expected to remain closed until mid-January 2025.

During this closure, the steam room and sauna will remain open as long as noise levels are manageable.

Active members with quarterly and annual memberships will have free access to the Fort Lupton Recreation Department starting September 28, when the facility reopens. Additionally, guests will be able to access residency rates at Trail Winds Recreation Center located in Thornton.

For any inquiries, patrons can contact the Brighton Recreation Center at 303-655-2206. The City appreciates the community's understanding and patience during these improvements.
