The Brighton Police Department is mourning the loss of Retired Sergeant Keenan Waters, who served the City of Brighton for over 26 years. Sergeant Waters was known for his dedication and passion for training and mentoring others. His positive impact was felt by the officers and staff he supervised, contributing significantly to the agency.

Waters passed away after a brave fight against cancer. His strength and resilience are remembered by his colleagues and community members. The Brighton Police Department expresses its condolences to his family, friends, and all those who were influenced by his service and kindness.
