Brighton, Colorado – The Brighton Fire Department hosted its inaugural "Axes not Exes" couples' night out at Lizzie's Axe Throwing on Main Street. The event aimed to provide support for firefighters and their families.

The night featured axe throwing, allowing couples to engage in a fun and unique activity. The event was sponsored by ALLO Fiber Colorado, with catering provided by Carnivores BBQ. Code-4 Counseling served as the peer-support partner for the event.

This initiative is part of an effort to foster community and support among fire department families.
