Brighton Honors Bryan Smith as Parks Professional of Year

On Tuesday, the Brighton City Council honored Bryan Smith, the parks planning, development, and grant manager for the City of Brighton, after he was named the 2024 Colorado Parks & Recreation Association (CPRA) Parks Section Professional of the Year.

Smith has been with the City of Brighton for eight years and took on his current role in early 2023. In a statement, he expressed his gratitude, saying, “I am truly honored to be recognized as the recipient of the Parks Section Professional of the Year award from CPRA. I'm grateful to work with so many great people and have such a great leadership team here at the City of Brighton.”
