**CBI Assistant Director of Investigations Retires After 37-Year Career**

Denver, Colorado – The Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) announced the retirement of Assistant Director of Investigations, Kirby Lewis, marking the end of a remarkable 37-year career in law enforcement.

Lewis' extensive career began with service in the U.S. Air Force, followed by positions with the Weld County Sheriff's Office and the Colorado State Patrol. For the past 20 years, he has been a vital member of the CBI team. Today, he officially retires from his role as Assistant Director of Investigations, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and service to Colorado and its citizens.

CBI expressed its gratitude to Lewis, noting him as one of the organization's most celebrated members. While details of his retirement plans have not been disclosed, Lewis now embarks on a new chapter after decades of commitment to public safety.
