Three-Generation Family Serves Brighton's 27J Schools
At 27J Schools in Brighton, Colorado, three women from the same family have worked within the education system over several generations. Eileen, who retired two years ago, paved the way for her daughter Michelle and granddaughter Jewlianna, both of whom currently serve as SSN paras at Thimmig Elementary.
Michelle shared that she initially began working in order to be close to her children. She stated, "I started working here because I got to be around my kids, but over time, this place and the people here became my family."
This family’s involvement with the school system reflects a continuing commitment to education and community service.
