Brighton’s historic streetlights are being upgraded to improve pedestrian safety in Brighton and Pittsford. Damaged fixtures are being replaced, six circuits are being upgraded, and 650 lights are being converted to LED. Rochester Gas and Electric reports that the project is intended to provide a modern glow-up for the streets of Brighton. More information about the project is available online.
