**Brighton Recreation Center Improvement Update**

As of October 23, 2024, the Brighton Recreation Center has completed the demolition and removal of the existing waterslide and its support structures. The next phase of the project involves the removal and relocation of the concrete footings.

Currently, the entire aquatics area remains closed. However, the steam room and sauna are still open, provided that noise levels are kept at a manageable level. Regular hours for the Recreation Center will continue during this time.

For patrons seeking alternative recreational options while the aquatics area is closed, the Fort Lupton Recreation Department is offering free access to active members with quarterly or annual memberships. Additionally, guests can receive residency rates at Bison Ridge Recreation Center in Commerce City and Trail Winds Recreation Center in Thornton.
